It was the engagement celebrated around the world. In a joint Instagram post on August 26, 2025, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced the new milestone in their relationship. "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨," the caption read. However, while the duo may not yet be in the depths of the planning process, it appears that Travis is already thinking about the seating chart for the couple's nuptials.
On a recent episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the tight end responded to an inquiry from his brother about whether or not two of the members of their podcast team would be invited to his bachelor party, as well as his big day. "Jake and Brandon required me to ask on this show, which is, are they invited to the bachelor party?" Jason said to Travis. The Kansas City Chiefs star was quick with his response: "Bachelor party, man, how do you even know there's a bachelor party coming?" Jason clarified that he was simply inquiring on behalf of Jake and Brandon. "I haven't thought about it one second," Travis said. "But I invite you guys everywhere."
However, the former Philadelphia Eagles player soon followed up with another ask: "Are they invited to the wedding at least?" At this point, the tight end revealed one of his concerns in regard to his reception, noting that he wants to make sure everyone mixes well. "You know, we're going to see how it all shakes out because I don't want to put them at a table that they wouldn't mesh with, so I would just probably not invite them at all if that was the case," he said.

"I appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something and all the posts and all the excitement that's been going on," the tight end said on the podcast. "It's been really fun telling everybody who I'm going to be spending the rest of my life with." Travis also detailed more of what the couple's post-engagement interactions have looked like. "It was my first time introducing Taylor as my fiancée to a few of my teammates. So yeah, it was pretty cool," he told his brother. "I still get giddy, exciting times."
On Thursday, August 28, 2025, the two made their debut as an engaged couple, appearing at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri to cheer on the Cincinnati Bearcats they faced the Nebraska Cornhuskers in one of the first college football match-ups of the season. Jason and Travis both attended the University of Cincinnati.
