However, while you may have a number of factors to consider when determining the day you want to say "I do," including your schedules, your family's preferences, your desired season, and the availability of your dream venue, there's another element you may want to take into consideration: the stars. If you're an astrology aficionado, you may be already carefully weighing which date—or time of year—may be best for your and your partner's respective signs.

"In electional astrology, choosing the best dates for significant life events like marriage involves analyzing the planetary positions on that day, how they interact with each other, and how they align with your natal chart," says Adama Sesay, an author and astrologer at Lilith Astrology. As a result, this day will change depending on your and your partner's signs. However, Sesay also adds that certain dates are generally known to be particularly strong and lucky for the entire zodiac. "Late June (specifically June 21st - 28th) is a particularly auspicious time for weddings in 2025," she says. "This is due to the favorable alignment of the Taurus Moon with Venus in Taurus and Jupiter in Cancer, both benefic planets that support love, harmony, and prosperity."

"For Aries, September is the best month, with the vibrant energy of the changing season," says Hillary Coke, a Western astrologer and tarot expert at Nebula. "Aries is passionate and bold, with a deep love for nature. Their ideal wedding would be daring and adventurous, like an elopement to a thrilling location, such as a mountaintop."

Taurus

"For the earthy and grounded Taurus, a spring wedding in May is perfect," Coke says. "Since Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love, they thrive in the beauty of late spring. For their wedding, the ideal location is a beautiful floral garden with elegant decor and luxurious surroundings." This sign may also gravitate toward a destination celebration.

Gemini

This air sign is defined by its energy and extroverted tendencies. "Geminis are social and known for their dual personalities," Coke says. "June works well for Geminis, as they love the energy of early summer." Due to their desire for a lively celebration, Coke says this sign should consider integrating interactive elements into their nuptials, such as games and live entertainment.

Cancer

While some people may stay away from hosting a celebration during the holiday season, such a time is perfect for this water sign. "Cancers are all about family and friends," Coke says. "They are extremely sentimental, and the cozy holiday months bring out those emotions. A December wedding is perfect for Cancer, surrounded by relatives and close friends." She suggests holding the affair at a family home—or in a relative's backyard.

Leo

Leos love the spotlight—especially when it comes to their nuptials. "The peak of summer, specifically August, is the perfect time for a Leo to host a grand wedding, complete with show-stopping moments," Coke says. "They’ll need a grand entrance, loud music, and over-the-top decorations. Think rooftop summer-evening reception with dancing into the night."

Virgo

It's no secret: Virgos love order. While other signs may need something truly show-stopping when it comes to their nuptials, Virgos may seek out something a bit more understated and structured. "Virgos are practical and organized," Coke says. "The crisp, cool weather in October provides the perfect environment for a Virgo to host their wedding. They love minimal décor, so a Virgo would choose to get married in an event hall or grand library—simple yet sophisticated."

Libra

"Libras are all about romance," Coke says. "Their ideal wedding will take place in April, during early spring. They want to be surrounded by flowers and candles in a beautiful outdoor setting." A Libra's big day may look like something plucked straight out of a fairy tale. Coke recommends hosting the affair at a picturesque setting, such as a flower garden or castle.

Scorpio

Scorpios aren't afraid to lean into the moodier aspects of the world—and the same can be said for their wedding aesthetic. "Scorpios are deep and emotional and are very much attuned to the energy of late fall," Coke says. "Their wedding should take place in November, with moody colors and décor. Gothic and vintage-inspired decorations, along with a candlelit reception. An old church or dimly lit lounge is the perfect location for a mysterious Scorpio's dream wedding."

Sagittarius

"To match the adventurous spirit of a Sagittarius, the wedding should take place during the hot summer month of July," Coke says. "They have a love for travel and adventure, so their wedding should definitely be a destination wedding, likely in a foreign country." Playing into their free-spirit tendencies, she recommends hosting the celebration in an outdoor setting, such as at a forest, on top of a mountain, or even deep in the jungle.

Capricorn

"Capricorns are all about commitment and fresh starts," Coke says. "They are motivated and eager to try new things, and a New Year's January wedding is perfect for these ambitious souls. They would love an elegant wedding with all the traditional décor, food, and music. Something timeless and classic, like a ballroom or historic venue, would be perfect."

Aquarius

Instead of planning a classic celebration, this sign will likely organize something a bit more unorthodox. "For their wedding, Aquarius loves anything unique and unconventional," Coke says. "They would choose something very unconventional for their big day, like an art gallery, museum, or futuristic venue downtown. March is a great time for their big day, as they won't be afraid of a little spring shower."

Pisces

"A Pisces will want a dreamy wedding in the month of love—February, " Coke says. "The theme needs to be ethereal—whimsical and mystical, near the water. If it snows, even better. Pisces would love a dreamy February winter-wonderland wedding with soft pastel colors and lots of twinkle lights."
