Real Wedding: Sarah & Tony's Carmel Fields Celebration

Tony and Sarah visited Carmel Fields by Wedgewood Weddings, looking for an all-inclusive wedding experience. Immediately falling in love with the stunning garden ceremony site and beautiful atmosphere, the couple quickly decided to celebrate with an outdoor wedding. Come behind the scenes to see all the details of their summer wedding in Carmel!

Leading up to their wedding day, Tony and Sarah's wedding coordinator and team brought their vision to life. They handled every detail virtually, so the couple didn't have to take numerous trips back and forth from San Francisco to Carmel.

After a first look at the Portola Hotel, the couple held their ceremony in the Garden Gazebo, with 67 guests in attendance to celebrate their special day. A special thank you to Expressions Floral Designs for providing brightly colored flowers that were showcased throughout the ceremony and reception.

After the ceremony, the couple took advantage of Carmel Fields' scenic photo opportunities, capturing beautiful moments throughout the grounds, including this chic lounge setup under the oak tree.

Meanwhile, guests enjoyed cocktail hour and the delicious appetizers included in the Elite package:

• Balsamic & Strawberry Crostini
• Crisp Dumplings with Pineapple Teriyaki Dipping Sauce
• Mini Crab Cakes with Spicy Remoulade

Soon, the celebration continued with a reception in the Merienda room, where guests started the party with an open bar, as well as specialty drinks, including the Classic Gold Rush featuring bourbon, a Spicy Margarita, and the You & Me Gin and Tonic.

The main course was a hit as everyone enjoyed a generous plated meal featuring:

• Braised Beef Short Rib
• Chicken Cordon Bleu with Chardonnay Sauce
• Raspberry Walnut Salad
• Fresh Bread and Butter
• Garlic Mashed Potatoes
• Seasonal Vegetables

The reception space shone with mahogany chiavari chairs, ivory napkins, gold charger plates, and peach napkins. As a special touch, custom table numbers were placed at each setting, and luggage tag favors and disposable cameras helped capture special moments.

After open dancing and toasts, the couple cut into their delicious wedding cake provided by I Do Wedding Cakes and celebrated with their guests throughout the night.
