London City Wedding Style With a Maximalist Ruffled Veil

1 year ago 427

London weddings carry a kind of magic all their own – that mix of movement, history, grit and glamour. From iconic ceremony spaces to warehouse-style reception spots, the city offers the perfect stage for couples wanting to do things their way – and this chic and modern editorial is a love letter to all of this.

Conceived and brought to life by the wonderfully talented and design passionate Foil Events, the shoot took place across two standout London locations; the elegant Old Marylebone Town Hall and Colours Hoxton – an effortlessly cool new East London wedding venue. The editorial narrative mixed contrasts and connection, framed by city streets, layered textures and one unforgettable ruffled veil by Rebecca Anne Designs.

With gowns from Anna Bridal Couture, florals by The Brighton Florist and playful styling touches from Luna and the Lane, the creative team took inspiration from this incredible veil’s bold beauty and built a look that feels fresh, fashion-forward and full of soul.

And we are incredibly delighted that multiple highly recommended Love My Dress suppliers participated in this editorial. Enjoy!

Celebrating London city weddings in all of their confetti-filled, tube-hopping glory, the team of creatives behind this styled shoot sought to reimagine the traditional ‘white wedding’ with a fresh and modern twist…

Our goal was to capitalise on the iconic backdrop of Old Marylebone Town Hall and the industrial style of brand-new wedding venue, Colours, whilst keeping a romantic feel throughout the design.

The bridal styles switched from chic and elegant during the day to fun and striking at night, with gowns provided by Anna Bridal Couture and two beautiful hair and makeup looks from Powder Blue Artistry
