It was one of the most expensive weddings of the decade: This past weekend, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez tied the knot in Venice, Italy. In addition to their opulent ceremony, the couple hosted a series of events in honor of the occasion, including a lavish welcome party and a pajama-themed post-nuptial celebration. While all of the costs of the festivities have yet to be publicly disclosed, a report from the New York Post said that the duo planned to spend $10 million on the fête, equivalent to approximately $50,000 for each of their 200 attendees. The newlyweds' guest list was extensive. A number of A-list celebrities arrived in Italy for the big day, including Orlando Bloom, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Brady, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Sydney Sweeney, and Gayle King. Yet, while some of the attendees adhered to wedding etiquette rules when selecting their attire for the weekend's events, others committed major faux pas, including Kylie Jenner, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Usher.

For the couple's nuptials, Jenner donned an off-white corset-style dress, breaking one of the biggest rules when it comes to wedding fashion: avoiding white or white-adjacent colors. While some modern couples have put their own spin on this time-honored ritual by asking all of their attendees to wear all white, it's clear that Bezos and Sánchez didn't take this approach for their big day. As a result, the Kylie Cosmetics founder committed a major faux pas by opting for an ensemble in the neutral hue. The socialite did adhere to standard wedding rules for the welcome festivities, selecting a strapless midi dress in a warm yellow color.

Jenner wasn't the only celebrity guest who broke with standard wedding etiquette at the Venice celebration. For the duration of the festivities, DiCaprio donned a black baseball hat, a massive fashion faux pas when it comes to attending a couple's nuptials. Some speculated that the actor may have been using the accessory to shield his face from photographers. The film producer wore a cap for the Friday ceremony, as well as the Saturday "Dolce Notte" black-tie party.
However, the actor wasn't the only one to don a cap to the festivities. Usher, who performed at the newlyweds' post-nuptial celebration, was also spotted wearing an Atlanta Braves hat for the party. The singer paired the cap with a long navy-hued coat with white detailing, a black bow tie, and a white button-up dress shirt.
