Jessica and Zack celebrated their early May wedding in the heart of London, beginning with a ceremony at Islington Town Hall before moving on to a city-view reception at One Hundred Shoreditch.
Jessica wore a sleek Victoria Beckham gown, chosen for its clean lines and timeless simplicity, paired with Prada heels and a veil borrowed from her sister. Her look was complete with nude chrome nails, a fresh Le Labo scent and a pair of diamond earrings gifted by Zack on the morning of the wedding.
Florist Zahra of Pink Gold Peach designed a sculptural bouquet that felt more architectural than traditional, adding a creative edge to the minimal styling. Rachel Wood captured it all with ease, creating a set of images that feel contemporary, intimate and full of quiet confidence.
Their celebration unfolded high above the city, the room glowing in the evening light as the skyline came alive outside. Guests enjoyed Lily Vanilli cake, the dance floor filled to SZA, and the whole evening carried that unmistakable London energy.

I love classic, minimal style. I don’t like too much fuss and wanted the wedding to feel sleek and effortless. There wasn’t one particular reference, but I did a lot of research on Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok to pull a mood board together of everything I liked. It’s really hard to not be swayed by trends, we wanted the day to reflect us as a couple and for our guests to feel that too.

The Ceremony
We chose Islington Town Hall for the ceremony because we loved the Art Deco features, the marble staircase and natural light through in the main hall.
Zack and I walked down the aisle together to the sound of Lana Del Ray’s ‘Radio’ – we asked my dad to be the ring bearer.
Photography
Our photographer, Rachel Wood, was amazing. She really understood the vibe we were going for and got all of our references. She was so nice and chill on the day, and just made it feel so easy for us.
We would absolutely recommend her to anyone for their wedding. I got so many compliments on the images and well as Rachel being so nice on the day.
Zack wore a double breasted suit from Suit Supply and had it tailored at Cad & The Dandy Savile Row. He didn’t intend on wearing his Tom Ford Sunglasses but as we had such great weather – it made the look!
I was really happy with how the day turned out. I didn’t want to think or worry about anything during the day so I didn’t do or overplay the day – and it worked out!
We’ve been together for sixteen years and met during an internship we did together when we were around eighteen or nineteen years old. Marriage wasn’t really a priority for us during our twenties, as we wanted to travel and experience different things together but it felt like it was the right time. We got engaged in September 2024 and then got married in April, so we had around eight months to plan everything.

The Reception
We loved One Hundred Room at One Hundred Shoreditch because it has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city (you can see the Gherkin from the room), the warm wood accents and it had a outside terrace – which was the best.
The hotel also had cacti all around the room, which was a really cool design feature.
We didn’t really need to think about decor – the room was great already with the floor to ceiling windows over looking the city, Cacti all around the room and we added the orange up-lighters for extra glow.
Lighting was provided by the Hotel – we had a warm orange up-lighters around the room which really helped with the warmth.
We got our wedding cake from Lily Vanilli and chose the Italian style Wedding cake as we wanted something classic and delicious! And it delivered – there was none left to take home!
We chose SZA’s ‘Snooze’, featuring Justin Bieber as our first dance track. We’re big fans of SZA and didn’t want something really traditional or obvious. This song reflected us perfectly.
We loved the entire day, but there was a few moments that stood out. Just before we left for the ceremony, a few close friends and family joined us on the terrace of our hotel room and it was such a nice way to kick off the celebrations. Also seeing a couple of my best friends at the ceremony before it began. That’s when it felt like it was real and actually happening and sharing that moment meant so much.
Zack is Jewish so during our party we did ‘The Hora’ dance and that really got everyone into the party mood and we got some great (and funny) pictures from it.
Words of Wedded Wisdom
Don’t be swayed by trends. Stay true to what you love and what feels right for you as a couple. We skipped a lot of the traditional things that people assume you should do, but wasn’t our style and we felt so much happier by doing that.
I also love the venue section and vendors – there’s so much choice so it’s great to have somewhere to find everything easily. I’ve passed this site onto my sister who will be getting married next year to help organise.
