Taylor Swift's next album is officially coming. On August 12, 2025, at 12:12 a.m., the pop star announced the title of her next album—The Life of a Showgirl—in a clip posted on the New Heights podcast's social media pages. "So I wanted to show you something," the singer says before opening up a mint green briefcase that features her initials in an orange hue. She then pulls out a record with the cover blurred. "This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl," she says. "TS12," Travis Kelce excitedly says in response to the disclosure. The full episode of the podcast is scheduled to be released at 7 p.m. tonight. However, even though we may not have many details on her upcoming project, there is one thing the artist made clear: Its color scheme centers around an orange hue.

While Swift and Kelce have yet to share any news of an engagement, the color of the singer-songwriter's new album may in fact be a hint that she's already in her bridal era. The hue bears a striking resemblance to the BRIDES + Minted Wedding Color of the Year for 2025: Verona Sunset. A sparkly variety of the shade, which is reminiscent of a refreshing Aperol Spritz or a picturesque sky, is currently showcased on the Grammy winner's website, next to prompts encouraging fans to "pre pre-preorder" the vinyl, cassette, and CD versions of the album.
Shortly after announcing the new album, Swift also posted a playlist on her Spotify page titled "And, baby, that’s showbiz for you ❤️🔥," whose featured art depicted her initials in the sparkly Verona Sunset hue against a mint green backdrop. Internet sleuths were quick to point out that the "Fortnight" singer often donned a sparkly two-piece set, bodysuit, or flowing gown in the hue over the course of her multi-year Eras Tour. In retrospect, the outfit choices were likely intended to hint at the upcoming project.

The football star and the songwriter first started dating in 2023. On September 24, 2023, the pop star was spotted in the Kelce family's suite at the tight end's match-up against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The singer continued to make appearances over the course of the season—and even cheered on the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII. Throughout 2024, Kelce did the same, making time to watch Swift perform her hit tour around the world.
And while the two haven't publicly commented on their future plans, it's clear that they're committed to making their relationship work. On July 10, 2024, a source disclosed to Life & Style that two consider themselves "unofficially engaged." More recently, in a profile for GQ, the tight end spoke more about his connection with his partner. "When I say it was so organic, we fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with," he told the interviewer. "We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values."
