When Jason inquired as to the meaning of numerology, the singer and Travis were quick to explain it. "Travis knows what numerology is," the pop star said, noting that the idea behind it is "numbers that have a specific significance." She then called attention to two numerals that are significant to them and their relationship—13 and 87. "13 plus 87 equals 100," she noted. "That's numerology."
While Jason may have only recently learned about the concept of numerology, the belief system is actually over 2,000 years old, says Glynis McCants, a numerologist and the author of Glynis Has Your Number and Love By the Numbers. "The belief is that everything in the universe has a vibration, and it's especially true for people," she says. "We each have a numerology blueprint that tells us about who we are and what we want in life."
