Ever since Justin popped the question in the Bahamas on July 7, 2018, Hailey has been donning her elegant engagement ring: a six- to 10-carat oval-cut diamond on an 18K gold band that’s estimated to be worth $500,000. According to People, the “Sorry” singer worked with private jeweler Jack Solow from New York City-based jewelry store Solow & Co. (a recommendation from his manager, Scooter Braun) to design the custom piece.
Solow said the artist approached the design process—which took a few weeks—with thoughtful consideration and care, keeping his now-wife’s personal style and physical attributes in mind. “In the end, Justin wanted something that would gracefully accentuate Hailey’s beautifully shaped hands,” Solow revealed to the publication. “We settled on an oval stone that was just exceptional in its length and grace.” When Solow presented the final product to the musician, he seemed ecstatic.
