Just two months ago, Andie MacDowell celebrated her son Justin Qualley’s wedding while fulfilling mother-of-the-groom duties. Then, on Saturday, August 19, 2023, the Groundhog Day star stood by her daughter Margaret Qualley’s side as mother of the bride while she watched the Maid actress say “I do” to Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff. People reports that Margaret and Jack got married in New Jersey, and they invited several celebrities to partake in the festivities, including Taylor Swift, Channing Tatum, Zoë Kravitz, and Lana Del Rey.

The duo kicked off the celebration on Friday, August 18, 2023, with a rehearsal dinner at Black Whale Bar & Fish House in Beach Haven, New Jersey, according to People. Based on a photo obtained by the publication, the bride sported a classic white A-line dress with a scoop neckline for the party. A few diners at the restaurant captured video of Swift, who exited a black SUV in a matching set with a black tube top and a maxi skirt. Tatum, Kravitz, and Cara Delevingne were among the other celebrity attendees who showed up. MacDowell and the bride’s sister, Rainey Qualley, were also present for the pre-wedding festivities. “They looked like they were having an amazing time,” an insider tells People. 

The following day, Margaret and Jack exchanged vows. The bride was photographed wearing a silk slip dress with a deep V-neck and Mary Jane flats while holding hands with her new husband, who sported a black suit. MacDowell stunned in a long-sleeved light blue dress decorated with a palm leaf pattern as she watched her daughter become a wife. Celebrity guests also brought their A-game, such as Swift in a light blue lace dress featuring ruffles and Delevingne in a black top and pants. Margaret’s father, Paul Qualley, and Jack’s father, Rick Antonoff, were seemingly in good spirits as they shared a laugh with one another on the big day, People reports. 

After the bride and groom’s ceremony and reception, the festivities continued with an after-party. According to the outlet, Margaret changed into a second look: a white tea-length dress with puff sleeves. Some of the snapshots demonstrate that Kravitz and Delevingne were laughing as they headed to the post-reception party. 

At the Cannes Film Festival in May 2022, fans speculated that Margaret and Jack were engaged after seeing a diamond on her left ring finger. Later that month, an insider confirmed to People that Jack had proposed. Shortly after the outlet published the news, Margaret hinted at her engagement on Instagram. The Stars at Noon actress posted a picture of herself showing off her new bling as she put her arms around her then-fiancé’s neck. “Oh I love him!” she wrote, although her account appears to have been deleted since then. 

According to People, Margaret and Jack first started dating during the summer of 2021. In March 2022, they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the AFI Awards Luncheon before attending the Critics Choice Awards, where Maid was in the running for the best limited series. After the event, Margaret uploaded photos from the evening, along with the caption, “Date night.”
