Choose the Right Ones

Instead of using crackling sparklers, stay with regular sparklers and make sure they are long - 50 cm is the ideal length, and will give you plenty of time to get lots of sparklers lit, and enough time to capture the photo. Extra-large sparklers also enhance the drama of this excellent photo opportunity. And stay away from colourful sparklers - they emit an excessive amount of smoke, which you certainly do not want!

As there could be a lot of sparklers to light at once, be sure to buy a few long safety gas lighters to to speed up the process. Your designated friends can get lighting quickly before they the sparklers begin to fizzle out.

Oh, and check with your venue first before bulk buying wedding sparklers, as some Irish wedding venues don't permit sparklers or require them to be used in a designated outdoor area.
