David and Victoria Beckham have been married for 26 years and she has the jewellery collection to show for it. While there are oodles of stunning celebrity engagement rings to fawn over, the fashion designer has a dazzling array. When David Beckham got down on bended knee to ask Victoria Adams to be his wife, he did so with a three-carat yellow diamond with a marquise cut in a plain yellow gold band. The sparkler reportedly set the Manchester United footballer back £65,000 at the time. Not too shabby at all, right? While her style may have evolved through the years, Victoria's engagement rings were always dazzling to the nth degree. From 17-carat stunners to glittering gemstones, we've charted their history below. Soon after the couple's lavish wedding at Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin, the Spice Girl's sparkler got its first upgrade. The British singer switched to a platinum eternity ring embedded with white diamonds which would hold pride of place on her finger for over a year. The couple delivered one of their iconic matching looks at the MTV Movie Awards and while the Victoria’s corseted jewel-encrusted Dolce & Gabbana gown made headlines, her now much larger engagement ring did too. Her emerald-cut diamond ring with two side baguettes was set in a platinum band. The fashion designer was gifted another engagement ring by her loving husband in honour of her 30th birthday This time round it was a pink champagne diamond ring with a white halo setting which was said to have cost a whopping $1.1 million. The next chapter in the incredible jewellery saga issued what was likely her biggest ring. In 2005, she sported a massive 17-carat pear-shaped diamond with a diamond pavé band which was reported to cost £2 million. Yellow diamonds were seemingly a popular choice for hubby David as the sports star broke out another dazzling one in 2006. The mega-sized jewel was regularly surrounded by two extra pavé bands eternity bands. This marked her first cushion-cut engagement ring. Victoria's eye-catching emerald ring sat inside a sculptural diamond spiral and would be the star of any ensemble. Of all the engagement rings in her jewellery box, her Chopard ring looked very similar to the engagement ring she received in 2003. Still jaw-dropping though by all accounts — it came in at 15 carats and was set in a pavé band. Rubies are synonymous with luxury jewellery, which makes these vibrant red precious stones a fitting engagement ring gemstone. Another striking addition, this oval-set ruby came in a vampy deep hue and was set in a diamond halo setting. Kate Middleton isn't the only famous bride with of an iconic sapphire engagement ring. Victoria's breath-taker of an oval sapphire which was given even more dazzle factor as it was set on a thin pavé diamond band. She showed off not one but two new engagement rings that year as she was also seen wearing one much more humble in size, but it was no less dazzling. The oval-cut pink diamond was set in a yellow gold band. Estimated to be 12 carats, her round-cut diamond ring in a halo design with two round side stones was yet another glittering addition to her jewellery box. Moonstones are among the most ancient gemstones to be used in jewellery, and in recent years designers have been slowly bringing them back into fashion. The designer showed just how contemporary they can be with her Jacob & Co. moonstone ring which was set in a diamond-encrusted platinum band. The singer-turned-designer debuted a new sparkler at the Cannes Film Festival - how stylish! Estimated to be about 10 carats, the square-cut diamond ring was mounted on a thick platinum pavé band. Finally, the most recent engagement ring paid tribute to where it all began.
