Oh, are you in for a treat with today's fabulous real wedding. Alexandra and Eoin made things official with their legal ceremony in Dublin in June this year ahead of their bigger wedding in France next autumn. Their "warm-up round" was low key, intimate and fun - we simply can't wait for you to see all the details. They exchanged vows at the Dublin Registry Office before their restaurant reception at Lena in Portobello. The styling was simply gorgeous with the bride and her wonderful aunt and sister making a dream team to bring the understated and modern celebration to life flawlessly. The couple made precious memories with 24 of their closest family and friends and Jenya Johnston captured all the magic so beautifully. Alexandra and Eoin met at the music festival Metropolis in Dublin 10 years ago and they live in Dubai today. They were living in Canada when Eoin popped the question. They were on a roadtrip for a week around Banff and Jasper National Park in May 2025 where they soaked up the incredible views and immersed themselves in the natural beauty on hikes. He proposed one very sunny morning against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Minnewanka. "It was a big surprise - we woke up in the place we were camping, went for a morning hike around the lake and it happened there with nobody around except some people kayaking on the lake - was a very special moment. We didn’t tell anybody for the first night and made dinner over a fire with some bubbly. The next day, we drove to Lake Louise and stayed at the Fairmont over looking a semi-frozen lake to celebrate (with our campervan parked outside looking very out of place... (lol)) before resuming our camping trip!" Alexandra's timeless bridal beauty look was thanks to makeup artist Gillian O’Toole and Ninth Studio hair salon on Baggot Street, Dublin. Of course, we know you want all the details about Alexandra's achingly chic look! It was a masterclass in high-low bridal dressing as she paired a statement corset from Zara with a textured column midi skirt by Sportmax from Brown Thomas. She accessorised with Yves Saint Laurent mule heels and a black and cream Prada geo print handbag. The result? The most effortless type of elegance. "My aunty and sister helped a lot with the decorations, my aunty left the drinks to set up the whole room in Lena - arranging the flowers, decorating the room, lighting the candles, everything! It was so special. Lena restaurant also went above and beyond they were amazing," the bride reminisces. The reception space was bathed in gentle light with refined styling including napkins tied with burgundy ribbons and single-stem arrangements of calla lilies. They received a fabulous present from Alexandra's dad and his wife Debi that allowed them to properly unwind after all the fun of the celebration. "We got a gorgeous gift of staying the Westbury for the two nights after which was amazing and made the whole experience very memorable." If this was the first part of their celebrations we can easily imagine how dreamy their destination wedding in France will be. They are set to say their 'I dos' again at the organic wine estate Chateau de Sannes in the heart of the Luberon in September 2027. Congratulations and a very special thank you to Alexandra and Eoin and to Jenya Johnston for sharing today's stunning wedding with One Fab Day! There are lots more pictures in the gallery below.
