Today's real wedding takes us to Spain for an adventure of style, love and joy. Lithuanian couple Sofija and Martín already had so many happy memories from holidaying in Marbella that they knew it was the perfect location to tie the knot. Choosing to get married abroad allowed them to bring all their favourite people together for their dream day which became a family trip and an extended party! They exchanged vows at Villa Lámpara, a magical woodland haven with beautiful views towards the reservoir and the sea. Emanuele Belini of Belini Photography captured every moving moment and unforgettable detail from a gloriously glam bridal look to the understated pale florals, a sun-drenched beach portrait session and even dancing in the rain!

Lithuanian lovebirds Sofija and Martín met at a music festival on 10 August 2018 and they fell for each other almost instantly. It was one of those connections that just felt right from the very first moment, they tell us. Today they live in the capital city of Lithuania, Vilnius.

Their proposal story will be music to your ears as it took place at the very same festival four years later. "Martín proposed on the beach, with my brothers watching," Sofija says. "They are the most important people in my life, so having them there meant everything. Afterwards, we all went to celebrate together with our friends."

Sofija and Martín's dream for their destination wedding was to have an intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends combined with a memorable holiday for their guests! Their loved ones travelled from Lithuania, Italy and other countries.

They did their day their way... Preparations began early at the villa where they also shared their beautiful first look. Then they enjoyed a fabulous portrait session at the beach before the ceremony.

The lush wooded landscape provided a breathtaking backdrop for their ceremony and the styling was simple, restrained and light in colour. The couple said yes to forever in front of a moongate adorned with white and cream flowers along with green foliage.

The villa ticked every single box for the couple, it was the perfect base for several days of celebrating. The accommodation and pool, along with the proximity to Puerto Banús, brought that holiday feeling that they were dreaming of. The private setting was perfect for their intimate celebration and the surrounding scenery made it undeniably magical.

The couple exchanged heartfelt vows during the ceremony and there was also a presentation of white ceremonial scarves to Sofija and Martín and to their parents. Having their parents involved in the ceremony meant the world to them.

Their wedding rings were made using gold from Martín’s grandmother which was so incredibly special for them.

How undeniably cool are our couple? Sofija's dazzling high-low gown adorned with a pearl and crystal embellished neckline was by VAMP Bridal while Martín's relaxed brown suit was from Suitsupply.

The reception styling enchanted their guests and married with the verdant surrounds of their utterly magical venue.

Their first dance to Fade Into You by Mazzy Star was a moment of pure magic.

Sofija and Martín jetted off to Japan for their honeymoon. They were excited finally to be going as it had taken them almost two years after the wedding to clear their schedules and make the trip happen. It was worth the wait!
