We know you won't be able to stop smiling about today's enchanting real wedding. Jen and Oisín envisioned tying the knot at a festival-style venue that had a fairytale vibe and was surrounded by idyllic natural beauty. Their dreams came true at Martinstown House in Co. Kildare where they were joined by 105 of their cherished people to celebrate their love on a beautiful day in May.

Their family and friends helped bring their dream day to life in all its spectacular glory which made every moment meaningful and unforgettable. Joyful, personal and pure magic from beginning to end, you can expect everything from bridal style with a vintage slant to medieval signage and exotic meadow florals! Sounds incredible right? Jen and Oisín tell us that they met on Tinder many moons ago in 2016! They are both from Dublin and they live there still today.

Jen proposed to Oisín a couple of years ago during a random trip and overnight stay in Oldtown, Co. Meath. She had originally planned to make it a very light-hearted and unromantic affair by popping the question at a petrol station but she changed her approach. "I figured he deserved better than that, so I proposed at the end of our night out after many cocktails!"

Their top priority was to ensure their wedding was fun for all their loved ones. It was "relaxed, natural, silly and slightly medieval" in theme!

Martinstown House is a magical 19th century country house nestled on a lush estate of private park and farmlands and Jen and Oisín fell instantly in love when they viewed it. "As soon as we saw the unique, yellow, fairytale-style house (Hansel & Gretel vibes!) and the absolutely stunning ceremony area that was immersed in nature and glamping village, we were hooked! The marquee also had this really cool tapestry-style wallpaper which fitted our vibe completely. But I think what really sold us was Edward the owner and Jim the wedding coordinator. They are both so kind, funny, personable and hospitable. They made the whole planning process so easy for us!"

The festivities kicked off the night before for the couple and their families with a beautiful dinner and a trad session at Martinstown House which quickly evolved into a major singsong. It was a gorgeous way to start their unforgettable celebration that was filled with love in every moment.

Their family and friends helped make the celebration so uniquely theirs. Jen's mum Brenda was their celebrant and it made the ceremony such a beautiful and special experience. "She made the ceremony so personal and funny and really captured the essence of our relationship. It was also so great to have so many people we care about getting involved in the day."

Oisín's dad Diarmuid was not only their videographer but he also played trad music during the ceremony with Oisín's brother and sister-in-law. They performed a magical soundtrack on the concertina, mandolin and harp. The couple's four friends also sang and played guitar as Jen walked down the aisle.

The ceremony readings left everyone feeling warm and fuzzy as Oisin’s mum did a gorgeous poem as Gaeilge and Jen’s friend Asti read a lovely and silly poem about the history of their relationship!

Their enchanting wedding theme was a mishmash of all the things they love. "We wanted a sun-dappled wedding with lots of plants and flowers around us (the weather started off very rainy and cold but as soon as Jen walked down the aisle, the sun came out!), there was also a very slight medieval theme in terms of the signage and the marquee tapestry. This is just a weird aesthetic that we both love – it wasn’t tied into anything else, so quite random!"

Jen wore a minimalist silk gown by OneAddington with golden 70s-style heels that she bought in Dunnes Stores for a tenner a couple of years ago, a dreamy lace veil from Etsy, a gold sequin bag from a vintage seller in Canada, and her and her bridesmaids all wore jewellery by her amazing friend Megan at Saltwater Design.

The bridesmaids looked sublime in satin mix and match gowns which were sourced from various shops and on Vinted.

Oisín embraced relaxed elegance with his striped linen suit from Next which he wore with brown Dr. Martens and a pocket square which he designed from a Palestinian keffiyeh.

Their vibrant and loose florals were designed by Jackie’s Florist in Ballyfermot. “I sent Sarah Jane many reference photos all with a different vibe and she somehow came up with the bouquet of my dreams! If I could think of a sentence to sum up the brief, it was 'wild meadow with pops of tropical colour' and she absolutely nailed it."

They found their photographer Danielle O’Hora on Instagram and they adored her use of film photography and the sentimental vibe it creates!

The bride sheds more light on the atmosphere of their gorgeous day, "I was so happy that the ceremony was full of genuine laughter and good craic. We really wanted to avoid the cliché that you don’t really get to enjoy your wedding day because you’re so busy! As soon as the meal started, we felt we could finally relax and throw ourselves into celebration mode and do lots of silly dancing."

Their top piece of wedding advice is don't sweat the small stuff. "I know you might be worrying about the weather, about how the music is going to sound, about whether you’ve coordinated everything correctly and in a way that perfectly reflects you – but on the day, you’re just going to be so happy and buzzing none of that stuff will really matter. Try and enjoy your wedding and don’t get wrapped up in the details."

Jen's neighbour Oisin Furlong, from the band Thumper, brought together of number of his very talented musician friends to form the couple's wedding band and they delivered all their favourite tunes. Later, their friend Ian DJed and kept the party going into the early hours.

Jen and Oisín chose a sun-kissed adventure for their honeymoon as they went to Milos in Greece for a week and then to Sicily in Italy for another few days. They would absolutely recommend both destinations to newlyweds.
