Originally from Seattle and Dublin respectively, Lukas and Carl are now based in London, but their love story began at sea. The lovebirds met while working aboard a European cruise ship, where dancer Lukas and singer Carl were both cast as emergency replacements. What began as friendship soon blossomed into love, and the rest, as they say, is history.

With a shared love of music and performance, the pair knew these elements would be at the heart of their wedding day, creating a celebration that felt every bit as joyful, romantic and personal as their story.

In October 2025, their love story brought them to Boyne Hill House, where they celebrated with 100 of their favourite people. Their romantic autumn Boyne Hill House wedding was filled with music, emotion and deeply personal touches, from a heartfelt ceremony honouring loved ones who couldn’t be there to their dramatic first dance to One Night Only from Dreamgirls and a surprise drag queen performance after dinner.
