We're unashamed dog lovers here at One Fab Day, and if you're just as crazy about our four-legged friends then you will love this post. We've gathered photos of our favourite pooches from the gorgeous real weddings we've featured for you to enjoy, and maybe even get a little inspiration as to how you want to dress or include your own doggo. Let's face it, it just wouldn't be the same without them. So from matching groomswear, to floral garland collars, these dogs are all kitted out and looking fab to celebrate their humans' big day, and steal the limelight... because everyone loves a dog at a wedding! 1. Benito the gorgeous greyhound was with his humans Claire and Shane every step of the way on their special day. 2. Jayme and Jeremy's pup Walter fit right into their whimsical Disney-themed wedding. Bonus style points for donning that dapper silk bow tie. 3. Kerry and Rachel's dapper pooch Riley wore the cutest cream bowtie which matched their ethereal gowns perfectly. 4. Cutie-pie Rosie the rescue (who played a big part in her mum and dad's engagement!) is all set for that all important walkies down the aisle. 5. Robyn and Max's beloved pooch was a paw-fect guest wearing an absolutely darling pink bow. 6. Ralph patiently waiting for his turn for the glam squad. We love his 'My humans are getting married' bow tie! 7. Gráinne & Kieran's labradoodle Gus couldn't wait to get into their wedding photos to show off his tuxedo! 8. Benny the corgi was a real heart-stealer at James and Paula's gorgeous garden nuptials and the groom wore corgi-print socks to match! 9. Groom Freddy made sure his best dogs Hiro and Wolf were looking equally as stylish as him on the big day. Who doesn't love a bit of matchy-matchy twinning with your pooch? 10. Susan and Martin had a special appearance from an all-important VIP - their adorable pooch Lola who kindly obliged to pose for photos! 11. Best boy Max rocking his little bow tie, looking equally dapper as his two dads on their big day. 12. It was a dog friendly day at Kathryn and Terry 's celebration at the Armada Hotel in Co. Clare. The bride runs a wedding pet chaperone service and their adorable pooch was the most dapper dog of honour. 13. After having a staring role in their engagement, it was only fitting Indie had a VIP spot on his humans Seamy and Laura's guest list! We're told “he loved all the attention!” 14. Bella representing both her humans home counties with her wedding day outfit! We won't say which one she prefers... 15. And the award for best bridesmaid goes to... Billy the Golden Retriever sure knows how to turn it on for the camera! 16. Bride Susie's 15-year-old Yorkshire Terrier Gyp made an appearance at the church for photographs, and even wore a sweet floral garland for the occasion. 17. Pooch Polar looking a bit emotional now his humans Aisling and Forbes are officially man and wife. 18. Jessica & Seán's Labrador was the proudest pooch on their special day. 19. Groom Kyle and the other love of his life on the big day. Fur baby Ricky is absolutely owning the floral collar lead look. 20. Rebekah & Stephen's fur babies Polly, Bella and Ted made their wedding more all-the-more sweet! 21. All eyes on Nick and Gizmo... here comes the best bride squad you've ever seen! We're pretty sure Nick is smizing for the camera. 22. After tying the knot one of the first ports of call for newlyweds Sarah and Emmett was giving their French Bulldog-Staffy Ollie all the cuddles. 23. Every bride needs her best girl by her side - even if she’s on four paws and wearing a flower girl dress. 24. Rachael and Marcellino's doggy, Rosie the Goldendoodle, was their honorary flower girl. She even had a custom-made dress for the occasion! 25. We can only imagine the swooning that occurred when Lauren and Conor's ring bearer, their rescue dog Max, made his way down the aisle. 26. Every wedding needs a best boy—and sometimes, he has four paws and a bow tie. How gorgeous is Liv & Jonathan's precious dog Moose? 27. Sinead & Paul's beloved dog Freddie wasn’t just part of their wedding day—he was part of their love story. 28. Nothing makes us swoon more than seeing how couples dress their beloved pooches on their big day. We can imagine all the awww-ing that would be going on over this bowed cutie! 29. At the Cambridge, UK wedding of Holly and Dominic their ceremony readings included How Falling in Love is Like Owning a Dog by Taylor Mali. "It was a perfect choice given how central our whippets are to everything we do." 30. For Cork-based couple Maria and Richard their golden retriever Nala played an integral role in making their wedding day as magical as could be. 31. After Sadhbh & Barry's 'I dos' in Blackrock, Co. Louth, they were joined by a very special guest. "Seeing our dog Holly outside the church as soon as the doors were opened made our day! We got her just a couple of weeks before we were engaged." 32. At Mary Anna and Jackson's wedding in the Appalachian Mountains their Springer Spaniel Penny was 'The Best Girl'. "We did custom cream cocktail napkins that had Penny’s face etched in gold foil with a caption beneath, 'I do, too! Love, Penny' and then our wedding date below that." 33. A particularly personal and playful touch at the wedding of Jessica and Max (at Gloster House in Offaly) was having their dog Archer the Duck Tolling Retriever included in the day, which they describe as both “silly and cute!". 34. Holly and Ben's beloved dog Bouncer looked so dashing in his own tuxedo on the couple's special day at Brookhall Estate in Lisburn. 35. At the Northern Irish wedding of Ritika and Darol one of the stars of the show was Paisley, the couple's miniature dachshund and 'Dog of Honour', who proudly walked down the aisle with the bridesmaids. 36. Conor got the sweetest surprise at his Markree Castle, Sligo wedding to Kendall when their the dog Tilly, who is a Malshi, came down the aisle in a dress. "Leading up to this, Kendall has 'refused' to let Tilly be in the wedding." says Conor. Adorably Tilly even sat on Kendall’s lap during the ceremony and their readings included What I Learned About Love, I Learned From My Dog which was read by Kendall’s cousin, Reigan. 37. In all his wedding finery, family Poodle Cody was central to Emily & Darragh's wedding at Borris House in Carlow. Pawsome! For more inspiration follow One fab Day on Instagram.
