San Franciscan sweethearts Emma and Dan planned the ultimate destination wedding weekend in Ireland. Joined by 100 of their favourite people they tied the knot in sensationally chic style at the dreamy Virginia Park Lodge. A relaxed welcome BBQ kicked off the celebrations the night before at the charming Cavan venue. With plenty of pints of Guinness, fun lawn games, sweet speeches, and wonderful live music, the tone was set for a truly unforgettable few days filled with joy and love.

Their brief for their wedding day was simple: they wanted everyone well fed and entertained and the vibe was to be super chilled so they could feel truly feel present without being rushed. The style was an ode to contemporary romance with the bride donning a spectacular drop waist wedding dress by Nicole + Felicia while her bridesmaids wore mix and match black gowns.

The couple tied the knot in the picturesque sunken garden with Emma making a magical entrance to an acoustic rendition of Taylor Swift’s When Emma Falls in Love - how sweetly apt! Their civil ceremony was officiated by Emma's brother-in-law, who was also a groomsman, and it included beautiful religious readings.

Emma's father James opened the celebrations with a wonderfully moving welcome speech during the drinks reception. As the guests soaked up the beauty of the countryside venue the couple deliberately kept portraits short and sweet so they could actually be at their own cocktail hour!

Their timeless celebration included a full-on-fun marquee reception with hydrangeas playing a hero role in the tablescape styling, a thrilling music set from Jo Petit & the Dream Band, a romantic first dance to On My Soul by Bruno Mars, a sparkling outfit change from the bride, and an espresso martini-fuelled DJ after-party inside the main house!
