As you plan your reception, there are a number of different decisions you'll need to make when it comes to your décor, table settings, and flower arrangements. The season, location, and size of your nuptials will likely play prominent roles in determining your centerpieces, which bring your envisioned aesthetic to life. That was certainly the case for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal nuptials in 2018. While their ceremony and carriage ride were broadcast around the world, many of the details of the subsequent evening festivities weren't revealed to the public—until now. In season two of With Love, Meghan, which premiered today, the former actress shared some new photos from the couple's reception.
Approximately 200 guests received an invite to Harry and Meghan's post-nuptial celebration, which was hosted at Frogmore House in Windsor. The pictures released by the Netflix star show a mix of high and low centerpieces that featured white flowers alongside sprigs of greenery and candlesticks. In addition to showcasing their love for the natural world through their arrangements, the couple also made sure to incorporate a unique personal touch, naming each of their tables after American and British ingredient variations. For example, one table was identified as "coriander" while another was called "cilantro," highlighting the word each country uses to refer to the same plant.

It wasn't just the reception tables that featured a personal touch. Meghan also recently revealed that she also played a role in making the paper goods for the big day particularly unique. In an episode of the show, Clare Smyth, the couple's caterer for their wedding reception, shared how the former bride used her calligraphy talent to craft the menus for the occasion by creating an iron-on transfer with her handwriting. "You had it all, like, drawn, and it was beautiful," the chef noted.
Beyond their ingredient-themed table numbers, the couple incorporated food into other aspects of their wedding. In her conversation with Smyth, the Suits star revealed more details about their reception. "We had the map where everything was sourced," Meghan said. "We really wanted people to appreciate where every ingredient was coming from." For the celebration, Smyth and her team served guests a number of dishes, including roast chicken and a "potato and roe" dish that took 25 hours to make, according to The Times. It's clear that the effort the team put into the dinner service paid off. "I mean, that was the most delicious meal," Meghan said. "Everyone still talks about it."
