She offers a wealth of knowledge about wedding guest style and we are so excited to shine a spotlight on her incredible bridal looks. Find out what she wore, how she wore it and where she sourced it. Let's go... Name: Tori Moore Let’s get to know our bride… It was a modern-day love story for Tori and her husband Mark as they met on Bumble in 2021! She fills us in on their sweet love story: "Less than 24 hours after our first date, I flew to the east coast to visit family. Knowing that it would be a while before we saw each other again, I asked Mark for a ride to the airport (extremely insane of me, to be honest) and he agreed – which is very rare in LA. He ended up picking me up from the airport at the end of my trip, and we have been together ever since!" "He planned for us to go on a walk around the downtown area to explore. It was incredibly hot and super humid after a rainstorm, but he led me by the local riverwalk and asked if I would ever want to go kayaking down the (super brown and gross looking) river. Little did I know, this question was a way of distracting me so my sister could get in position to take photos. Then he got down on one knee and popped the question, I obviously said yes! After realizing my sister was there with us (despite her lying to me the whole week prior and saying she didn’t know anything about a proposal), we walked up to a local bar to celebrate… and both of our families were all there! I had no idea that my mom and dad, and Mark’s mom and siblings were in town. This was everyone’s first time meeting each other, so it was super special to celebrate with the whole family." Tori's personal style is very traditional and classic, she feels the most comfortable in a pair of well-fitting jeans and a classic white t-shirt! When it came to curating her bridal looks she simply picked out things that she liked! "I didn’t worry about trends or creating looks that were 'timeless.’ If I was browsing and something spoke to me, it was added to the cart. Over the wedding weekend I was a bit more intentional about creating a story with my dresses and hairstyles, and I loved how it all came together." As the couple were moving back to California as they were planning their wedding, Tori sourced her bridal outfits both online and in-store. The wedding weekend began with a stylish bridal luncheon on the Friday morning hosted by Tori's mum’s friends. To kick off her wedding wardrobe, and the start of the transition from being a single gal to a married woman, she wore a chic shift dress by Abercrombie & Fitch with sheer panelling lined with pearls and a low back with a bow. "I didn’t have a traditional bridal shower, so this was in lieu of that. It was bridesmaids, cousins, aunts, and close local friends. My wedding dress had a bow, and I had pearl accessories for the wedding day, so this was a little bit of a teaser for the main event. I wore my hair half-up half-down, as a nod to a more girly style, knowing again that I would wear my hair fully up for the wedding." They held their rehearsal dinner with their bridal party (and their plus ones), parents, and pastor at the local restaurant Ecco in Midtown Atlanta. They rented out the lobby bar in their hotel for their welcome party later, it was a fabulous way to kick-start the celebrations. She wore one of her all-time favourite outfits for the occasion which comprised of the Poppy cape dress from Elliatt and nude kitten mule heels adorned with pearls and tiny jewels from Dolce Vita. She wore her hair in an intentionally messy, 10 Things I Hate About You, 90s style, French twist updo and accessorised with “toi et moi” stud earrings with her and her husband’s birthstones that will hold a treasured place in her jewellery box for years to come. Finally, she paid a beautiful homage to her grandmother with a fabulous fan clutch by Kate Spade. "My grandmother didn’t have a traditional bouquet at her wedding, she instead had a giant fan that she carried. I love the story and intention behind this piece, and even if people didn’t know the full story, it felt like having a piece of my grandmother with me all weekend." She wore a stunning 'something old' piece on the morning of the wedding. It was her getting ready robe and baby doll nightgown that her mum made from the skirt and detailing of her own wedding dress. "On the inside of the robe, she embroidered her wedding date to my dad, as well as my new wedding anniversary. There is room to add more brides in the family, too. My mom had a classic 1990s wedding dress with poufy sleeves and lace and pearl details, and instead of it gathering dust in a closet, this is now a very special family heirloom." She absolutely loved shopping for her dream wedding dress. "There is a lot of noise when it comes to being a bride and buying a wedding dress, in particular, but I am really confident and sure of my personal style. When shopping for my wedding dress, in particular, I had a vision of exactly what I was looking for and I am so happy with the dress that I found. From the moment I put on my wedding dress, I knew it was the one! I always wanted a ballgown with a dramatic train and veil moment. I feel drawn to classic shapes and silhouettes, so picking out a strapless sweetheart neckline with a natural waist was no surprise." She married her true love in a gorgeous garden ceremony wearing the Marcelina dress from Amsale which she purchased at Zoya's Atelier in Falls Church, Virginia. Romantic and perfectly her, the rose fil coupé strapless ballgown boasts a dazzling bow on the back. "I love the silk jacquard floral overlay, and feel like it gives a little something special to an otherwise very classic and elegant dress. The floral overlay was perfect for our whimsical and romantic garden party wedding. What really sold me on the dress, however, was the romantic bow that attached to the top of the dress and softly draped down the back, highlighting the cascading buttons that went all the way to the hem. This dress is truly everything to me. After trying on the dress with a plain cathedral length veil, I decided to order the matching veil with the same floral pattern… with an extra foot of length added to the tulle. The veil was such a special finishing touch, and I will treasure it forever." Her 'something new' was her breathtaking dress and the matching veil while her 'something old' was a strip of fabric from her grandmother’s wedding dress which was tied around her bouquet. Her 'something borrowed' was a dainty pearl necklace that her dad gifted to her mum on the morning of their wedding. How gorgeous! As for her 'something blue'? She wore the Vivi Earrings in bluebell by Jennifer Behr that feature an intricate floral motif, blue satin flats, and her bridesmaids were the sweetest sight in sky blue gowns. "Stay true to yourself! Don’t pick outfits based off of what’s trending, or what you’re 'supposed to wear.' The most timeless choice is the one that is authentic to you. Also, don’t take too many people with you when shopping for your wedding dress. The experience is already overwhelming, and more opinions can cause more confusion and overwhelm."
