We’ve seen a lot of twists on typical wedding traditions, but this one has to be our very favourite! From Flower Men and Flower Dudes, to Flower Grannies and Flower Grandads, we're spotting more and more couples tinkering with tradition as they personalise their weddings with alternative bridal party roles! It’s a beautiful way to include grandparents or celebrate fun friendships in your ceremony. While it may not be traditional, it sure is sweet! We love this idea so much, we wanted to share a list of ways real couples have used it in their wedding. We bet you'll be pinning these sweet ideas to your wedding Pinterest boards immediately!

1. One Fab Day couple Robyn and Max didn’t just have flower girls — they had their grandmas take on the role, with a grandpa as their ring bearer too! Can you imagine the smiles (and happy tears!) as they made their way down the aisle?

2. Kleenex please! Emilie Voss and Ben Bohland didn't have children at their wedding, so the bride asked her 95-Year-Old Grandma, Alice Wheaton, to be her flower girl and the groom asked his grandpa Jerry to be the ring bearer!
