Exclusive: TikToker Daisy Foko and Philadelphia Eagle Kylen Granson Were Married in a Fashion-Forward Wedding at the Chicago Field Museum

Content creator and inventor Daisy Foko matched with Philadelphia Eagles tight end Kylen Granson on Tinder on May 23, 2018. From then, nothing was ever the same. After six years of dating, Kylen popped the question on July 21, 2024, at the Rock 'N’ House, a modern getaway in upstate New York. Then, the busy couple got to work planning their dream wedding.

First on their list? Hiring an amazing wedding planning team who they could trust to knock the evening's design out of the park. "We both have busy careers and we knew we needed planners who were experts in their field," Daisy explains. Bianca Hall and Erica Vanco, the visionaries behind Estera Events, delivered on that promise. What's more, they made the planning process seamless for Daisy and Kylen. "I think we had the most stress-free wedding planning experience of anyone we know!"

As two history buffs, picking a venue was simple: They chose to host their wedding at Chicago's Field Museum, where they were able to swap vows beneath the towering cast of a Titanosaur. "We both love history as well as museums and the dinosaurs in the Chicago Field Museum are especially miraculous," the bride says. From there, the team at Estera Events brought in HMR Designs to create epic floral installations, which ultimately lined the mirrored ceremony aisle and the venue's stairs, surrounded the dance floor, and topped reception tables.

On July 12, 2025, the couple and their planning team were able to see all of their hard work come to life. On the big. day, 140 of the couple's loved ones joined them for a ceremony officiated by New York Times bestselling author John Green and a detail-heavy reception that honored both the venue and the couple's unique love story. Maison Blanche Lettering created the couple's boxed wedding invitation suite. As a nod to the venue, they added a fossil-inspired insert, where guests could sweep away sand to reveal big-day details. The same motif would return during the wedding itself.

Guests also learned of the couple's pre-nuptial welcome party and the wedding's "all black, black-tie" dress code.

To start the celebration off strong, Daisy and Kylen hosted a yacht welcome party on July 11. The bride wore a strapless floral-embroidered dress from Helsi Margot while the groom donned a custom look from Josh Kercher (who also designed his wedding attire) with pearls from both of Daisy’s grandmothers. "Kylen loves pearls," Daisy notes.

On the wedding day, Daisy asked her makeup artist for a "no-makeup makeup look," with an emphasis on highlighting her natural features and making her skin look radiant. "I just wanted my eyes big and my cheeks rosy," she notes.

She took a similarly unfussy approach to big-day hair: "I had done an updo for the welcome party, and I knew that I was going to be doing a braid for my after-party dress," she explains. "I’ve always preferred to have long hair, so it just felt authentic to me to have my hair down. I wanted it to be clean and classic with a little bit of Lana Del Rey." As a finishing touch, she added a gold tiara with subtle pearl details, a nod to her groom's favorite gemstone.

Daisy wanted a wedding dress that was creative, reflected her personal sense of style, and featured a full skirt. "I knew I wanted it to be big because you only get to do the big dress once," she says. After trying on a few different options, she chose a strapless ball gown from Nicole + Felicia, which featured fluffy, three-dimensional flowers on the skirt.

HMR Designs knew that Daisy wanted a bouquet that was "a little bit wild" with dangling flowers, and they delivered a textural, unique arrangement of orchids, daisies, ranunuclus, clematis, sweet peas, and more.

Kylen decided to go the custom route for his attire, which ultimately comprised of a suit and cape. "I felt like all of the suits that I was seeing online weren’t really me," he explains. "I’m a huge nerd who’s into sci-fi and fantasy, so whenever I went in to visit Josh [Kercher], I told him my idea of having a cape, and he suggested the Mandarin-style suit with the clasp sewn in. It ended up exactly how I wanted."

He accessorized with his Tiffany "Bird on the Rock Watch." "That was my first real big purchase with my football money. It’s going to be a family heirloom, but it was my something blue," he says.

The couple shared a first look ahead of the ceremony, and while it was intimate, special, and emotional, it also served as a moment of levity for the bride and groom. "Every time I try and surprise Kylen with something. I knew this was my chance. For our first look, I had my dad stand outside with a makeshift veil so that when Kylan opened his eyes, he would see him when expecting me. It was hilarious and totally worth it!" Daisy laughs.

When he saw his bride-to-be, though, Kylen shifted from laughing to crying (happy tears, of course!). "We had a beautiful moment together outside on the terrace. I wasn’t sure going into the wedding if I wanted to do a first look before the aisle. I was a little worried it would take away from the impact, but I’m so glad that we did it," Daisy stresses. "It was so intimate."

Because their guests were going to be wearing black attire, the bride and groom wanted their families and wedding parties to stand out in pastels. Daisy's family wore maroon while Kylen's wore navy, and their bridesmaids and groomsmen were each assigned a color that served as an extension of the hues featured in the day's floral design. To help Daisy's maid of honor and Kylen's best man stand out, the couple asked both of them to wear pink.

"I picked which color would go with which girl based on who I felt like it would complement the most," Daisy says of her approach. "It was really important to me that my bridesmaids feel beautiful standing up there with me." Once those hues were assigned, they doled out the same colors to the groomsmen, pairing each with the shade that would be most flattering on them, too. The result was a stunning, colorful array that popped against the couple's all-white attire and the venue's marble architecture.

The bridesmaids carried daisy bouquets while the groomsmen wore boutonnières that mimicked the flowers seen in the bride's bouquet.

The ceremony was held in the museum's Stanley Field Hall & Balcony, a massive space that the planning and floral teams were able to make feel warm and intimate using drapery and lush floral arrangements. A mirrored aisle was set up between smoky gray acrylic chairs and the museum's signature cast of a Titanosaur served as a grounding element to remind everyone where they were.

The couple had a very special wedding officiant: New York Times bestselling author John Green wrote and delivered their ceremony, which was personalized and poignant. Daisy and Kylen elected to write their own vows, and the bride recalls her husband's words as being especially moving. "Kylen is a very talented writer, so I knew that it was going to be incredible, and it really was," the bride explains.

Though she had written her vows, Daisy ultimately decided to make promises off the cuff during the ceremony. "I felt a lot of pressure between Kylen going first and our officiant being John Green. I panicked last second because I’m dyslexic and I was worried that I would get up there and not be able to read what I wrote, so I ended up speaking from the heart, and I’m glad that I did because it ended up being perfect," she explains.

After being announced husband and wife, the duo recessed to "The Man" by Aloe Blacc. Then, they took advantage of the empty ceremony space to pose for a few more portraits.

Guests were whisked outside for cocktail hour, which also gave the planning team an opportunity to flip the ceremony space for the reception. The couple served two signature cocktails and a variety of appetizers, which guests enjoyed while taking in a gorgeous summer sunset.

Embracing the uniqueness of their wedding venue was important to Daisy and Kylen, so the team at Estera Events came up with a clever seating chart display: Guests were invited to find their reception table by sweeping away sand using a fossil brush.

The couple wanted to bring the outdoors in during their reception, but also play up their beautiful wedding venue, and the team at Estera Events did just that. "We played heavily into the green linens, and we utilized floral on the ground and on tables throughout the space," Daisy notes. A mix of long, round, and a curved head table were arranged throughout the space, tucked beneath the Titanosaur cast and taxidermy African elephants.

Green linens topped each table, and they were finished with a variety of different colorful centerpieces containing a mix of pastel-toned flowers. Black chargers, pink napkins, and place cards calligraphed with each guest's name finished each place setting.

Daisy and Kylen hired a DJ-band hybrid from Aragon Artists for the evening's entertainment. Before sitting down to dinner, the newlyweds shared their first dance to "Talking to the Moon" by Bruno Mars.

Dinner included a mix of different options, like cacio e pepe, steakhouse garlic- and herb-rubbed whole roasted tenderloin, Caesar salad, hickory smoked pork rib, and colossal shrimp. Guests dug in while the couple's wedding party delivered their speeches. "We started a running joke that our officiant was going to be judging all the wedding speeches, since our officiant was John Green. People took it seriously, and all night people were running up to him asking what their grade was," Daisy remembers. In the end, he even started handing out grades to speakers.

Instead of a tiered wedding cake, the couple chose a long, low design, which was topped with fresh flowers. Inside, there were layers of marble cake with raspberry whipped mascarpone. Guests also enjoyed a selection of other mini desserts, like cookie dough squares, s'mores tartlets, and brown sugar cake.

Later in the evening, Daisy changed into a mini dress, also by Nicole + Felicia. She paired her look with a shoulder-length veil and ballet-inspired shoes.

The couple danced all night and left their reception in a haze of happy exhaustion. "On the way home after the wedding, we kept almost falling asleep in the back of the Rolls Royce because the seats were so comfy and we were so tired, but kept getting woken up by ppl pulling up yelling, 'Did y'all just get married?' Then we’d pop up and yell “yes!!!” And the cycle would repeat," Daisy laughs.

The couple will wait to enjoy their honeymoon once Kylen's NFL season wraps, but Daisy did surprise her groom with a mini moon in Idaho Springs.

Their top piece of advice for anyone planning their own nuptials? "Get a great wedding planner!"
