If you're planning an autumn wedding, we encourage you to embrace seasonal blooms, foliage and berries, but if you’re reading this post, we imagine you're already a fan! In fall, the colours become more vibrant and much warmer, giving us an awe-inspiring autumnal flower colour palette to choose from that's lush, rich and diverse!

And while it's now possible to buy almost any variety of flower at any time of the year, most good florists will work with the seasons. Seasonal flowers are not only budget-friendly and a more sustainable choice, they're also at their most naturally beautiful when in season, and autumn wedding flowers are no exception.

Here, we're sharing our essential guide to autumn wedding flowers, including a list of what flowers are in season in autumn in the UK and Ireland and some sample bouquet recipes to help you make the most of what nature has to offer at this time of year.
