From a Trinity College Dublin lecture hall to a sun-drenched garden supper celebration on a stunning Sardinian vineyard, Holly and Tiarnán’s path to their wedding is a beautiful, music-filled journey. What started as a chance glance fourteen years ago eventually blossomed into a sun-drenched celebration of a lifetime. Surrounded by 70 of their nearest and dearest under a radiant Italian summer sky, they tied the knot at the historic Sella & Mosca Estate and vineyard on 30th May 2026. From a breathtaking bridal entrance to a fully custom-curated soundtrack that kept the dancefloor packed all night, their day was the ultimate blend of destination elegance, rich local flavours and deeply personal touches. Ready to be besotted? This is such a sunny and beautiful wedding - we can't wait to show you more. The stunning captures are by photographer Laura Stramacchia.

First off, why an Italian wedding - and why Sardinia? "We chose Sardinia because we both fell in love with the island when we visited a few years back," explains Holly. "We also felt it was somewhere a bit different for people. With regards to the Sella & Mosca Estate itself, we loved the fact there was such a gorgeous and intimate chapel on site, not to mention that the fabulous wine we enjoyed was produced mere metres away from where the celebrations were."

Whille marrying under dreamy vines in Italy already has us hooked, we need to know more about this gorgeous couple's path to their destination wedding day. We know they met at Trinity in Dublin as students, but what about the proposal? According to Holly this was beautifully chaotic, and situated at Mahon Falls, which is the 80-meter-high waterfall located on the southern slopes of the Comeragh Mountains in Waterford. "Tiarnán dropped to his knee up right at the top, which almost didn’t happen as we got lost on the hiking trail!" she laughs.

On the day, the bride wore a sculpted wedding dress by Newhite, from The White & Gold boutique in Howth, which she paired elegantly with Kate Spade shoes, Kyna Maree earrings and an Isla De Gar bag.

Meanwhile, Tiarnán looked classically suited and booted in a Suit Supply suit and Tod's shoes accessorised with a classic bowtie, while the groomsmen wore suits from M&S.

The stunning flowers, from the bride's bouquet to right throughout the wedding, featured a vibrant mix of peach, orange and deep coral pink garden roses, dahlias and hanging amaranthus. Holly's bridesmaid wore an embellished Lace & Beads dress from Asos.

"We envisioned the wedding as a burst of colour under gorgeous Sardinian sky," says Holly. "We wanted to be surrounded by our nearest and dearest, with incredible food and our favourite tunes taking us through the day."

Holly made her bridal entrance to Godspeed by Frank Ocean played on violin and cello. "This was my favourite piece of music of the whole day," says Holly.

Music was a hugely integral and key part of the day. "We fully curated our own music choices, from the ceremonial bridal entrance, to the dinner playlist, right through until the end of the night," says Holly.

"The most important thing for us was that our day would represent us both as individuals and as a couple," says Holly. "The aim was for own tastes to come through while also making it memorable for our friends and family."

"The incredible hues of the natural Sardinian summer blooms inspired our gorgeous florals," says Holly. "And throughout the estate, there are also gorgeous buildings painted in shades of yellow which matched perfectly to our colour scheme."

The biggest inspiration for the couple's wedding aesthetic were the surroundings which created the most stunning setting. "Dinner beneath the trees felt like the perfect Italian garden party," says Holly.

The stationery throughout was by Irish contemporary wedding stationery and design studio Keady Row, who are also on the shortlist for our upcoming inaugural One Fab Day bridal awards.

There was much music, laughter and also very happy tears throughout the day. A mobile unplugged band Riccardo Mannai’s The Roaming Band provided the tunes during the aperitifs and then transformed to DJs as night fell.

For the couple's first dance Holly choreographed a very special piece to Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You by Lauryn Hill.

"Our music tastes don’t really include the usual wedding party floor-fillers, but the dancefloor wasn’t empty at any stage throughout the night," says Holly. "It also helped by the fact we didn’t leave it ourselves!"

Any advice for other couples planning their day? "Yes! Investing in a wedding planner that you can trust is key," says Holly. "Vittoria from Wedding Frinaeventi has years of experience and she made us feel so at ease on the day. We truly could sit back and enjoy it while she ran the show discreetly in the background."

Holly and Tiarnán rounded off their spectacular wedding with a week in Sardinia."We had a few nights at Hotel Su Gologone followed by the Gallicantu Stazzo Retreat," says Holly. "They both had very different vibes but we 100% would recommend both of them. We are also heading to Mexico before Christmas for a two week trip which we are super excited about."

From all of us here at One Fab Day we extend a huge congratulations to Holly and Tiarnán as well as a massive thank you for sharing your wedding with us. Thank you also to photographer Laura Stramacchia. You can see lots more stunning captures in the gallery below.
