A Spring Wedding at The Cadillac Service Garage in Greensboro

Photos by Him & Her Photography

Vicki and Ross got married at The Cadillac Service Garage in Greensboro, North Carolina, in April 2026, and when Ross wanted wedding party photos surrounded by greenery, they put everyone on a trolley to Fisher Park and came back for the ceremony.

Getting ready and two first looks

The planners at Events by Summer Joy used the venue’s separate spaces to keep the day moving. Vicki and her bridesmaids got ready in the light-filled White Brick Lounge. Ross and his groomsmen were in the Red Brick Lounge. Before the ceremony, Vicki shared a first look with her father in the courtyard, then a private first look with Ross in the lobby, followed by portraits near the venue’s bar.

A trolley to Fisher Park

The Cadillac Service Garage is a historic building with a lot of brick. Ross wanted some photos with trees, so the couple booked a trolley to nearby Fisher Park for the wedding party portraits. It solved the problem and gave everyone a ride together, which is half the fun. More ideas in our guide to wedding day transportation.

The Cadillac Service Garage wedding ceremony

Back at the venue, they married in the courtyard. Sedgefield Florist & Gifts built a broken floral arch in greenery, pink and coral, and musicians from Corda Entertainment played the ceremony and cocktail hour. After the vows, Vicki and Ross stepped onto the upper terrace, where jasmine was in full bloom, for portraits.

Family-style tables and a sparkler exit

Guests moved through the Classic Showroom for cocktail hour, then into the Garage for the reception. Long family-style tables, candlelight and understated florals set the mood, and 1618 On Location served dinner from interactive stations that kept people up and mingling. Calligraphy was by Rustic Roots Lettering, rentals by Party Reflections, and hair and makeup by 10/40 Beauty.

After the first dances and toasts, Vicki changed into a second look and Another Level opened the dance floor. 336 DJ’s & Photobooth was the DJ, and the party ran right up to a sparkler exit.

The idea worth stealing

Pick a venue with distinct rooms and let each part of the day have its own. Getting ready, first look, cocktail hour and reception all happened in different spaces at The Cadillac Service Garage, so the day never stalled while staff flipped a room. A good planner is what makes those transitions invisible. Here’s why you might want one.
