The final Grand Slam tournament of the year is right around the corner. Starting on August 24, 2025, the world's top players will compete for one of the most prestigious titles in the sport. However, in addition to watching the unbelievable rallies, aces, and overheads on the courts at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, as a fan, your attention may also turn to the stands. And next to the A-list stars and enthusiastic spectators at Arthur Ashe Stadium, you'll likely spot a few members of the sport's most beloved couples.
Since tennis necessitates constant travel, incredible mental toughness, and intense physical training, having the support of a partner can be key. Some athletes—like Gaël Monfils and Elina Svitolina—even find love while on the tournament circuit, bonding over their shared passion for the sport. However, oftentimes, players connect with stars who have found professional success elsewhere, such as in the fashion world or the film industry. And some, including Taylor Fritz, even discover love on the internet. (The American competitior met his girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, on a dating app.)
Below, we've rounded up nine of our favorite couples in tennis to root for—both on and off the court—during the upcoming 2025 US Open. Read on to learn all about them and their relationships.
